Learning is far beyond classroom teaching and is intrinsic to our lives. The series of “Versatile XieHe” reports aim to help discover a diverse life in school education from different perspectives. “Whilst Mr. East and Ms. West move one step towards to each other, the gap between the two will be getting ever smaller, and I believe they would finally meet up.” Sticking to the value that “unity in diversity, innovation through collaboration”, XieHe is always dedicated to cultivate world citizenship with a great open vision, where east meets west. In Wanyuan, lives are enriched with colorful and versatile elements, which are huge enrichment to the academic achievements.

It’s Me

大家好，我是伍思杰，從小學一年級開始，我就和萬源加拿大pc結下了緣，在初中的這幾年里，我從青澀的6年級加拿大pc變成了成熟的9年級學長，從剛入學懵懵懂懂的小孩，到自主獨立的前輩，這一切都離不開老師的悉心栽培，和同學的相處還有加拿大pc的硬件支持。

Hello everyone, I’m James. I’ve been in SUIS-WY since the first grade of primary school. In the past few years, I’ve changed from a na?ve sixth grade student to a mature ninth grade senior, from a newly enrolled ignorant child to an independent predecessor All this is inseparable from the careful cultivation of teachers, warm relationship with students and the hardware support of the school.

我的興趣愛好比較廣泛，我對這世上大多數新奇有趣的事都感興趣，花切，客制化鍵盤，耳機，書法，組裝電腦，收集鋼筆等。當我寫完作業后，我會鉆研這些東西，或是拿出一副牌，練習新的combo（連招）；或是自己嘗試創作獨一無二的切牌；或是調教鍵盤大鍵，使聲音更加悅耳，打字手感更加柔和，舒服；或是單純的聽著我喜歡的音樂看看書。閱讀書籍也是我密不可分的愛好，自從我最開始記事，我手里就常常拿著一本書。我年齡還小的時候，就可以靠一本好書度過一整個下午。在浩如煙海的書籍中，我最喜歡看的還是科幻小說。科幻小說給我們提供了一種新的可能性，在這樣一個乏味的世界中可以看到外星帝國的戰爭，新科技的產生和文明的延續存亡。

I have a wide range of interests. I am interested in most novel and entertaining things in the world, such as cardistry, customized keyboard, headphones, Chinese calligraphy, assembling computers, collecting pens, etc. When I finish my homework, I will delve into these astonishing things, or take out a pair of cards and practice new combos; or try to create a unique move ; or adjust the large keys of the keyboard to make the sound more pleasant and the typing feel more coherent and comfortable; or just simply listen to my favorite music and enjoy books. Reading books is also my eternal hobby. Since I began to remember things, I often have a book in my hand. When I was young, I could spend the whole afternoon with a good book. Among the vast varieties of books, my favorite is science fiction. Sci-fi provides us with a new possibility. In such a boring world, we can see the war upon alien empire, the emergence of new technology as well as the survival and decease of civilization.

我也很喜歡數學以及物理這兩門學科，它們是可以用來描述這個世界的工具。雖然很多人可能理解不了，但是我認為數學公式很美，比如我最喜歡的公式歐拉公式。數學是很嚴密很嚴謹的學科也是很浪漫很精巧的學科。有句話這么說的“數學源于生活，但數學高于生活。”客觀理性的數學一直是我最愛的學科。我大學專業，甚至以后的工作，也想和數學有關。

I also like mathematics and physics. They are tools that can be used to describe the world. Although many people may not understand it, I think mathematical formulas are very beautiful, such as my favorite formula Euler formula. Mathematics is a very strict and rigorous subject, and it is also a very romantic and sophisticated subject. There is a saying that “Mathematics comes from life, but mathematics is higher than life.” Objective and rational mathematics has always been my favorite subject. My major in college, and even my future work, I wish they are related to mathematics.

在加拿大pc里，我還依稀記得第一次競選部長的場景，當時還是六年級的我，就這樣成了3名部長之一, 我也慢慢和新生的志愿服務部一起·成長，進步，從最初的二三十人，到現在的六七十人. 在我升上9年級的時候. “退休”的那一刻，看著這個大家庭，還有點小小的成就感。

In school, I still vaguely remember the scene of the first ministerial election. I was in Grade 6 at that time and became one of the three ministers. I gradually developed and made progress along with the newly assembled volunteer service department. From the initial 20 or 30 people to the current 60 or 70 people, 。I even had a little sense of achievement when I looks at this large family after I graduate the 8th grade.

初中的這幾年里，我成為了一個更好的我，不僅是學習上，還有心理上。為了進一步完善自我和考上心儀的大學，我選擇了繼續留在我們的高中。

In the past few years of middle school, I have become a better me, not only in study, but as a human being. In order to have further improvement and enter my favorite university, I chose to stay in our high school.

我眼中的加拿大pc

在我眼中，萬源加拿大pc是一個美麗的加拿大pc。整潔明亮的教室，是我們努力為自己創造美好未來的地方；寬闊的操場上，我們揮灑著青春的汗水；課間，我和朋友們漫步在陽光明媚，郁郁蔥蔥的郊暢園里，多元的加拿大pc加拿大pc官網，讓我可以全方面的發展。不僅是傳統的語數英三門主課，音樂，美術，體育都十分的有趣。延遲攝影，非洲音樂，各種各樣的的活動。我也可以在學習之余打打羽毛球，踢踢足球，不亦樂乎。除此之外，我們加拿大pc萬源加拿大pc一直貫徹把課堂帶出校園的理念，一個月一次的博物館學習可以開闊我們的眼界，一年一次的探險少年可以讓我們更加堅定，勇敢，有團隊意識，敢于承擔自己的責任。

In my eyes, SUIS-WY is a beautiful school. The clean and bright classroom is where we strive to create a better future for ourselves; On the wide playground, we sprinkle the sweat of youth; During recess, my friends and I strolled in the sunny and lush Jiaochang Park. The diversified school curriculum allowed me to develop in all aspects. It is not only the traditional three main courses, language, mathematics, and English that matter, but also music, art and sports these minor subjects. I enjoy all these activities including delay photography, African music, etc. I can also play badminton and football in my spare time. In addition, SUIS-WY has always implemented the concept of providing us, students with access to high quality, diversity, and holistic international education. The monthly Museum study can broaden our horizons, and the once-a-year adventure youth can make us more firm, brave, more aware about cooperation and taking our own responsibilities.

其中我印象最深刻的還是7年級那次的英語演出——愛麗絲夢游仙境，我扮演的是男主角瘋帽子，“戲份很大，責任更大”，更多的演出代表了我有更多的臺詞要背，更多的劇本要熟悉，更多的細節要注意。那時候的我，吃飯都想著背臺詞，在多次排練之后，我也和我的同學一起，緊張坎坷的踏上舞臺，而又喜悅自豪的離開它。演出的成功固然離不開演員們，但更離不開道具組，美工組和后勤組這些幕后人員，每一個同學都各司其職，全力付出，這才有了圓滿的結果。演出過后，我更加了解了團隊合作的重要性。

The most unforgettable moment was our English drama in Grade 7- Alice in Wonderland. I played one of the main characters: The Crazy Hat, “The opportunity is outstanding, but the responsibility is greater”. More performances mean that I have more lines to memorize, more scripts to be familiar with and more details to pay attention to. Me at that time, I thought about reciting my lines even at dinnertime. After multiple rehearsals, I stepped on the stage with my classmates nervously and step out of it proudly and delightfully. Of course, the success of the performance is inseparable from the actors, but it is even more essential from the behind-the-scenes personnel such as the prop group, the art group and the logistics group. Each student performs his own duties and makes every effort, which leads to a satisfactory result. After the performance, I learned more about the importance of teamwork.

還記得六年級的時候你給同學們做的一次加拿大pc講壇，講希爾伯特空間中時間與空間的關系，當時就由衷的感慨這個小孩了不得。加拿大pc為每一位孩子提供了多樣的平臺，你都能充分把握機會，積極努力地做最好的自己。在萬源充實緊張但豐富多彩的學習生活中，每一天，你都在嘗試，在拼搏。四年來，我看到你生根、發芽、蛻變，在磨礪中成長。我堅定地相信你將在高中生活中一定能取得巨大的成功，綻放出更多光芒。

I still remember the student forum you gave to your classmates in the sixth grade. You talked about the time-space relationship between in Hilbert’s space. At that time, I sincerely sighed that this child was abnormal. The school provides a variety of platforms for every child, and you can always take full advantage of the opportunity and work hard to be your best self. In Wanyuan’s full, intense but colorful study life, you are trying and fighting every day. In the past four years, I have seen you take root, sprout, metamorphose, and grow in temper. I firmly believe that you will achieve great success in your high school life and shine more brightly.
