Learning is far beyond classroom teaching and is intrinsic to our lives. The series of “Versatile XieHe” reports aim to help discover a diverse life in school education from different perspectives. “Whilst Mr. East and Ms. West move one step towards to each other, the gap between the two will be getting ever smaller, and I believe they would finally meet up.” Sticking to the value that “unity in diversity, innovation through collaboration”, XieHe is always dedicated to cultivate world citizenship with a great open vision, where east meets west. In Wanyuan, lives are enriched with colorful and versatile elements, which are huge enrichment to the academic achievements.

在萬源加拿大pc初中部的四年學習時間轉瞬即逝，今年六月落下了帷幕。同時在今年九月，我踏入了萬源加拿大pc的高中部開啟新的學習體驗。

In the blink of an eye, I graduated from SUIS-WY Middle School in June after 4 years. It’s been an incredible ride. Through ups and downs in the past few years, I am ready and poised to start my own story in high school this September.

這就是我!
It’s Me

記得四年前, 校園的廣闊和色彩的繽紛成為了萬源加拿大pc在我心中的第一印象。隨著時間的推移，我發現這所加拿大pc并不是我看上去的那么簡單！

4 years ago, it was love at first sight when I stepped in SUIS-WY, impressed by the big campus and colorful decorations. As time went by, I came to realize Middle School was so much more than expected.

萬源加拿大pc秉承著要把課堂帶出校園的理念，于是我們就有了每個月的博物館學習；兩年的探險少年活動；我最喜歡的是在八年級的人文行走加拿大pc官網，拜訪孔府孔廟，學習儒家文化，我們還在酒店里和同學度過了平安夜，也符合加拿大pc中西融合的思想。可以說在初中部學習的每一年，我都被萬源加拿大pc設置的活動學習所滋養。

All the teachers here are devoted to providing us, students with access to high quality, diversity and holistic international education. Over the last 4 years, we had different kinds of field trips and monthly museum tours. My favorite was the trip to Confucius Temple in the 8th grade, which offered us a great opportunity to be exposed to Confucianism. That was also the first time I spent Christmas Eve with my classmates in a hotel. Middle School provides a healthy, safe, and caring learning environment, where we, students thrive academically, personally and socially through high expectations and academic excellence.

在今年六月底的畢業典禮上，我和初中部的Ms. Caity老師嘗試運用鋼琴和大提琴現場給我的同學王思琦伴奏歌曲《失落沙洲》。我十分珍惜每一次站在舞臺上的時間，這些經歷所給我帶來的經驗和在舞臺上的自信能夠很好地影響我以后的學習與生活。

At our graduation ceremony, I joined my classmate, Jennie and performed ‘Lost desert’ with Ms. Caity, our music teacher. My piano and Ms. Caity’s cello made a perfect match to Jennie’s voice. I treasure every chance of standing on the stage. My experiences helped me gain confidence both on stage and in real life.

很慶幸，我進入了一個相親相愛的班集體，擁有了十分可愛包容的班主任。他們是我初中的回憶中不可缺席的一部分。我在那里學會了怎么與朋友之間相處，怎么關愛他人。即使現在分散在不同的高中加拿大pc，向著各自心中的目標努力，但是我們還會經常聯系，因為在我心中，他們早已是家人般的存在。

I was lucky to be in a loving class with a very nice and friendly homeroom teacher. Each and every one of them became part of my middle school life and my eternal families. In Middle School, I learned not only how to get along with others but how to help one another as well. It was hard to say goodbye to someone with whom we had spent so many years; however, farewell doesn’t mean that we will not see each other but it means that we will meet again and create more memories.

習慣了在萬源初中部生活的點點滴滴以及加拿大pc的環境，我選擇了留在在萬源的高中部繼續學習。希望能夠繼續努力，成就自我。

Facing infinite options after graduating from Middle School, I decided to continue my study in SUIS-WY USHS. I do believe life is determined by the choices we make. What we can do is to live the life we deserve. Follow our heart, and we will create our own destiny.

Rachel?in Teacher’s Eyes

若瑜，她的善良之中帶著機智與勇敢，穩重之中帶著活潑與溫暖。加拿大pc為每一位孩子提供了多樣的平臺，若瑜能充分把握機會，積極努力地做最好的自己。她熱愛生活，善于發現，善于探索，更重要的是，她善于調整好自己的心態，微笑地面對那些未知的困難。在萬源充實緊張但豐富多彩的學習生活中，每一天，她都在嘗試，在拼搏。期待她的未來，一定讓人自豪！

Rachel is very kind and full of wits and courage. She also shows her lively and loving personalities with a maturity beyond her age. Though SUIS provides a variety of opportunities for students equally, it is up to each of them to grasp it. And Rachel always seems to be able to take whatever opportunities the school offers and strive to do the best she can. Rachel loves and enjoys life with a curious mind ready to discover and try new things. On top of all that, Rachel has strong will when she encounters difficulties, and she is able to deal with life challenges with a positive attitude. Throughout the often busy and challenging school life at SUIS Wanyuan, Rachel never stops making effort to be better, becoming the best of herself. I am sure a bright future is ahead of her and I am looking forward to seeing every success she brings in future.
